SEXUAL HEALTH PROBLEMS OF WOMEN BY LIFE PERIOD
 
Sexual health, which is one of the important parts of health, includes being in a state of complete physical, emotional and psychological well-being. Sexuality changes in different life stages of a woman's life. Sexuality, which is an important and natural part of human life, can cause negative health consequences due to uninformed early sexual activity in adolescence. During pregnancy, decrease in sexual desire and activity, pain during sexual intercourse and problems in orgasm can be seen due to the changes that occur in the mother's body for the development of the fetus and preparation for birth. Climacterium is a period in which hormone production and reproductive capacity decrease after the sexual maturity period of the woman. During this period, which covers one third of a woman's life, some important physiological and psychological changes are experienced, and depending on these changes, women may face many complaints and health problems. The most striking change of this period occurs during the menopause period, and the sexual function of women is affected at different levels in almost every area during the menopause period. Sexual health problems that women may encounter vary according to their life periods. For this purpose, in this review, it is aimed to examine the sexual health problems of women according to their life periods.
